The home is warm, inviting, and full of original local artwork and color with marble floors, granite counters, a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a laundry room with washer and dryer, ironing board and iron for your convenience. TV, DVD player and WI-FI are provided for your electronic needs. The bedrooms include a Master en-suite full bath with a King size bed, a second bedroom (the Mermaid Room) en-suite full bath with Queen size bed, and a third bedroom (the Fiesta Room) with en-suite full bath with 2 double beds. For your ease, an elevator awaits you right outside the villa’s door.
Punta Esmeralda is conveniently located near to all the towns on the Bay of Banderas. It is five minutes by car or taxi from Bucerias and La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, ten minutes from Nuevo Vallarta, and twenty-five minutes from the nightlife of Puerto Vallarta. Within walking distance of the resort are the two small towns, Bucerias and La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, both with great authentic Mexican character, shopping and local food. Further north is Punta de Mita, a growing resort development, and Sayulita, famous for art and a surfer’s paradise. We recommend that you rent a car, but taxis are readily available, and there is a bus stop just outside Punta Esmeralda on the main highway.
Please note that due to the 3.5' deep ground level private plunge pool on the patio, Casa Lugar Escojido is not recommended for families with toddlers or young children. The quality art and furnishings make this unit most suitable for 2 to 6 adults looking for a relaxing, upscale get-away.
