The area has big supermarkets and grocery stores like MEGA Supermarket (between Mezcales and Bucerías), Walmart and Chedraui in Nuevo Vallarta, and Sunset Supermarket in Paradise Plaza. Small and local grocery stores are in every corner too.

Most people can afford house cleaning services with maid or a gardener to tend the yard. Things that might be more expensive in the area could be furniture, electronics of home décor, but you can always find great options online.

 

Transportation in Riviera Nayarit

Living in places like Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerías, or Sayulita, don’t affect very much by transportation costs. These places are very walkable and public transport (buses) are available and inexpensive. Having a car is not necessary, though many like to have one for flexibility.
